On 18th August, the Optimists 1st XI travelled to the home ground of Royal Brussells CC for the BCF T20 finals day.
The Optimists were the only side to appear at the finals day two years in a row.

On Sunday, the Optimists CC lost an important game to top of the table Crescent.
Despite a strong bowling performance, the Optimists were unable to chase down 197 in their 45 overs.

Basel Cricket Club were the visitors last week-end and the Optimists had mixed results against them.

Unfortunately Frankfurt CC are unable to come on the week-end of 4th/5th August and so we have had to cancel it.
