Dear All,
With the 40th Anniversary event taking place this Saturday, we just wanted to take this opportunity to make you all aware of a slight change to the start time of the match and of the important points of paying for food/drinks and parking.
The start of the match will now be at 16.30 (with a scheduled finish of 19.30) with the bar opening at 17.00 until late, food being served from 19.00 until 22.00 and the rest of the evenings activities taking place after the conclusion of the match.
For those of you planning to eat and drink at the event, as with the 6-a-Side and other local events, we will be operating a voucher system where you will be asked to purchase EUR 10 vouchers from the cashier in order to pay for food and drink (those of you who have paid EUR 5/10 in advance will be re-imbursed in the form of a voucher). As you can imagine we will not be accepting card payments so we ask that you please bring as much cash as you are likely to need.
To the important point of parking. We would advise guests to carpool, take public transport or arrange other means of getting to and from the ground as far as possible but for those of you who need to drive may we please kindly ask, out of courtesy to the local residents, that you park in the Pidal (swimming pool) overflow car park in between the rugby pitch and Pidal. If this car park fills up, and you are forced to park on the road, please do not park on the residential side of the road. Please only park on the cricket pitch side of the road and please do not block access route down to the pitch.
