As you may already know, this coming Saturday (26th August) at 1pm, the Pierre Werner Cricket Ground in Walferdange will be hosting important fundraising event in support of the Think Pink Lux Cancer Charity and the weather forecast is looking very good.
Spectators will be warmly welcomed to this event where, like last year, the match involves players in pink having fun to raise money for the charity. Player slots are almost full (please contact Graham Cope if you are interested in playing - cope@eif.org) and spectators are encouraged to come and watch the match, enjoy the BBQ and help the cause. Spectators are asked to contribute EUR 20 to the charity and for that you get cricket entertainment and free food (players will be asked to contribute EUR 30 but this also includes a playing shirt). Drinks and Pink wine will be available to purchase also.
All proceeds will go to Think Pink Lux and players are reminded to be at the ground by 12.15.
