The club is pleased to announce that the Optimists 1st XI have progressed through to the Quarter Finals of the BCF T20 Tournament. The BCF has recently informed us that we will play Hasselt CC in this important fixture. However, adding this fixture at late notice has been difficult but the only possible date for both teams was Saturday August 25th.
This means the Cricket in Pink Charity Match will be played earlier than planned starting at 11am that day - and then be followed at 3.30pm with the BCF T20 Match vs Hasselt. The Club hopes that this will not impact the Cricket In Pink participants and that they will then stay on at the ground to cheer on the 1st XI in this cup match and enjoy the continuing BBQ. Strong home support will be needed as Hasselt CC are a Division 1 team and will be tough opponents.
