The season is here! Many thanks to those members of OCC and assorted LCF clubs who lent a hand at the ground prep weekend. The weather has been kind to us and the ground is looking pretty good for this time of year.
The main message is that the traditional season opening match Captain's XI vs Chairman's XI will take place this Saturday 6th April, starting at 13h00. Those members of the Optimists CC who wish to play, please simply turn up at 12h15 and register yourself at the scorer's table. Teams will be worked out depending on numbers etc.
For the rest of the season, selection for matches will follow the usual online process, where you as playing member, update your availability for matches and the selection committee will pick the team on a Tuesday evening, so look out for a selection notification on the Wednesday before the match.
