As a fantastic outdoor season of cricket heads towards its business end, the time is approaching for us to consider the necessity of closing up the cricket ground for the winter.
To that end, and bearing in mind that there is lots of very important work to do in order to close up the ground for the winter, can you please mark the weekend of 5/6 October in your diaries for the the ground clear up day.
More details will follow closer to the time but many hands make light work so we look forward to seeing as many helpers down at the ground as possible.
