Optimists Cricket Club

Robert Deed has been elected chairman of the Optimists at the club's AGM, taking over from the outgoing Mark Fitzgerald. A senior member of the club for many years, it is the third time Robert has presided over the committee.

Tim Andrews and Graham Cope were welcomed onto the committee, as was William Heath, former 1st XI captain, and Madhu Ramachandran who has held both the captain and chairman positions in the past.
