Optimists Cricket Club

The 1st XI travelled to Gent today to play Arcadians CC in the second 45-over game of the Belgian league season, keen to make amends for their drubbing at the hands of Ostend CC. Optimists fielded first and bowled ACC out for 175, with newcomer Arjun Nandal taking five wickets in his first game for the Optimists.

However a bad start had the Optimists two wickets down for one run after seven balls and they never recovered. All out for 111. A disappointing batting performance after putting in good work with the ball.
