Optimists Cricket Club

OCC made a fine start to the season with its WOCC side thrashing Black Stuff CC in the first LCF T20 league match. 

Scorebook not available at the time of going to print, but Tim Barker made 39, Phil Burleigh 30-something and James Barker 40-odd. Skipper Joost Mees chipped in with a 67 and WOCC made a stonking 239 off 20 overs.

In reply BSCC were only able to muster 98 all out. According to his Facebook page, one of BSCC blamed his poor performance on falling over his feet and damaging his little finger. Or something like that.
