Dear All,
As you are aware this weekend sees the return of cricket to Luxembourg with the season opening Captains vs Chairmans match.
Thank you to those who have already made themselves available on the Optimists website. You may have noticed that no team sheet has been sent. This is because we always arrange sides on the day itself. Even if you have not put your availability for this match, feel free to come down and get involved (please note this is the only case where it is not essential to put your availability on the website). The match is scheduled to start at 1pm so please ensure that you get there by 12.30pm at the very latest.
After the match there will be a curry which will cost €10 euro per person (feel free to bring family). If you would like to be involved in the post match curry please send an email to occwalfer@gmail.com by 6pm on Thursday 24 April, indicating how many people you will be and don't forget to bring cash down on the day.
Even if you won't be able to stay for the curry please don't hesitate to come down to play the match.
