It is with great sadness, the club announces the passing of Keith Glover on 1st March 2026.
Keith was a great friend of the Club for many years, and he is survived by his wife Val (a Life Member together with Keith). Keith was a dual international, having represented Luxembourg in both Cricket and Rugby. When Keith represented Luxembourg at an ICC tournament in 2003, at the tender age of 67, he obliterated the record player in an ICC tournament. Among his various contributions to the Club over the years, Keith took on the role of Club Secretary in the early 2000s and acted as tour manager on numerous occasions, including tours to Cricket Festivals in Durham (UK).
Optimists CC would like to extend its deepest sympathy to Val as well as Keith’s other family and friends.
There will be a remembrance service at the church in Steinsel on Saturday 7th March at 11:00am.
