As announced in the "save the date" a couple of weeks ago, the Club's Awards Dinner will take place on Saturday 15 November at 19.30 at the Clubhouse of the Stade Emile Bintner, rue Jacques Stas, L-2549 Luxembourg-Gasperich.

If you think that is a slightly strange venue for an OCC event, suffice to know that it is a cricket ball throw from Raju's New Delhi restaurant in Gasperich. So if you pass the restaurant on your right side, the Clubhouse is at the end of the second road on the right. Needless to say, Raju will provide the catering in the form of a curry buffet and dessert and the ticket price is €25.

We are keen to welcome as many active or inactive OCC members as possible, together with their wives or partners, but also to include as widely as possible from the Luxembourg cricketing community. So please spread the word to senior juniors, their parents, the Maidens, CCC, Star CC, AILCC and so on. All will be very welcome.

Individual performance awards for the 2014 season will be handed out during the evening.

The event is timed to coincide with a visit from our old friend and coach trainer, Graeme Rickman, who will come that weekend to train coaches at ICC levels 1 and 2.
Members and others with an interest in passing on their knowledge and skills to the next generation are very strongly encouraged to take this great opportunity to obtain a coaching qualification. And its FREE! It will take the Friday evening and the whole of either Saturday or Sunday, depending on which level you choose. Please contact Roger Barker at rcboards@pt.lu for further details.
